Letter from the Editors

Dear Class of 2004,

We are pleased to present you
with the 2004 Dial. The book's
theme, "Our Journey", was
selected to emphasize how the
images contained within illustrate
all of the experiences you had
here at FSC. These experiences,
both in and out of the classroom,
have shaped you into the person
you are today. We hope this
book will allow you to reflect on
all of the challenges and
successes you experienced
throughout your journey here as
an FSC student.

We hope that you have found
success both in your personal and
professional lives. As you look
back on the time you spent at the
College, remember that you are
always considered a part of the
FSC family and we look forward
to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,

Office of Student Involvement &
Campus Events

Every day students walk
to and from classes at
Framingham State
College, passing by
familiar sites such as the
Shuttle Bus, Lower
Sandbox, and Dwight
Circle.

Whittemore Library

The library offers a variety of
resources for coursework, and is
a staple to academic life.
Students often spread out and
find their own quiet space to
work in the library.

Dwight
Hall

Dwight Hall is home
to administrative
offices as well as the
Dwight Auditorium.
Students often begin
their FSC journey in
Dwight by taking an
Admission's tour. A
few years later,
students end their
journey gathering in
the Auditorium for
Investiture.

Hemenway Hall

EH

Framingham State College has one of the
most traditional and beautiful campuses in
New England. Clockwise from top: Crocker
Grove; Doyle Technology Center; Crocker
Hall; May Hall.

The student traffic
between classes is
always at a fast pace.
The Journey to
graduation is filled with
many steps past May,
Crocker, and
Hemenway Hall!

What would a
Journey be without a
rest stop? All
students have
enjoyed a meal with
friends in the dining
facilities on campus.

Emerging
Leaders

Emerging Leaders is
designed to provide
FSC's future student
leaders with a chance to
develop their leadership
potential. Throughout
the program, presenters
share new insight and
engage participants in
skill-building activities.
Upon completing the
program, participants
often seek out
important roles on
campus such as
Resident Assistant,
Student Trustee, and
President of SGA.

Investiture

The Campus Community begins the Commencement Celebration

i

Senior Investiture marks the first time that seniors gather in their caps

and gowns as a Class. Faculty, staff and graduating seniors march

through Dwight Auditorium, hear motivational speakers and are

addressed by the Senior Class President.
Above Right: Senior Class Officer Matt McLaughlin and President Pat

Dooling figure out their gear.
